We support the organisation "Operation Walk" with BIOLOX®delta femoral heads for hip replacements.
The medical humanitarian organisation Operation Walk enables many people to receive medical care in countries where it is too expensive for many. Poverty, too few medical staff, poor infrastructure - these are some of the factors that contribute to inadequate healthcare in parts of the world, including El Salvador.
We are delighted to be able to make a small contribution to this important Operation Walk project with our donation of ceramic components for hip joint replacements. A big thank you also to our colleague Rebecca Echols for her commitment - we are already looking forward to her next impressions from El Salvador.
