Miroslava Urbanová joined CeramTec in the spring of 2022 and has proven to be a fantastic member of the Sumperk team, especially because of her unceasing optimism, good mood and hard work. With great enthusiasm, she invents and organizes events for employees to engage people and create a sense of belonging. Her interest in others and desire to work with others is clear and her organisation skills are second to none and has a reputation for being able to deliver even in the very shortest timescales.
Willingly to give advice and encourage others even on the hardest days, Mirka supports leaders and employees alike and always invests her time to help others. She has a natural talent for giving people around her optimism and a good mood with her smile.
Rebecca Echols

Rebecca Echols is a valued team member of our US-based Medical Commercial team. Over the past 4 years, Rebecca Echols has seen tremendous changes in her role and client responsibilities. During this time, she has maintained an open and positive mindset. Rebecca always got behind the changes when they occurred, relentlessly sought out opportunities, and was determined to build positive customer relationships and grow the business. After the Covid pandemic, Rebecca was the first supplier invited to participate in an in-person training program for sales reps, which was a key indicator of how strongly customers perceive their relationship with Rebecca. She is a person who is known for focusing on solutions. Congratulations, Rebecca!
Erich Tratner
Award, 2021
Mr Erich Tratner from the Lauf site has been one of CeramTec's most successful idea submitters for years. He has submitted a total of over 300 ideas in recent years, which have led to savings in the high five-figure range and 97% of which have been implemented.
He not only takes on the role of submitter and idea generator, but also collects the ideas from team colleagues, enriches them and accompanies the ideas until they are implemented. In this way, he supports the entire team at the piezo ceramics department in Lauf.
Vanessa Bierbrauer
Award, 2020
Vanessa is a proactive, enthusiastic and positive member of the team who listens to the feedback and opinions of others and regularly brings fresh, new ideas to the department.
She has taken the initiative numerous times to drive opportunities for- ward, often based on her own ideas of how improvements can be implemented. Recent examples of her work in 2019 include creating a digital apprentice booklet, her membership in the digitalization working team of the vocational training school, delivering computer training for new apprentices and supporting on initiatives including Social week and Values workshops. Her positive nature to find solutions and supporting the department to achieve success is relentless and highly appreciated.
