CeramTec again included in WiWo's world market leader ranking

The German business magazine ‘Wirtschaftswoche’ has once again published its ‘500 secret world market leaders’ ranking in autumn 2024. Prof Dr Christoph Müller, titular professor at the University of St. Gallen, compiled the list of world market leaders together with Dr Walter Döring, former Minister of Economic Affairs of Baden-Württemberg.

A global market leader ‘must be number one or two worldwide in at least one relevant market segment (not in all business areas) in terms of turnover’. If no data is available for a market segment, Müller asks the companies about their competitors and compares them with them. At least 50 per cent of the annual turnover - lower limit: 50 million euros - must be generated abroad and on three continents.
